The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. SSL resp. TLS ENCRYPTION
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses an SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

INFORMATION, BLOCKING, DELETION
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. 2. Data collection on our website
COOKIES
Some of the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

SERVER LOG FILES
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
• Browser type and browser version
• operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer

•    IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is required to be able to show you our website and to ensure security and stability. We store the data until the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

3. Social Media
Our website uses functions of the social networks LinkedIn and Xing. We use the so-called 2-click solution. Only when you click on the social media button is data transmitted to the providers, who then collect usage and user data if necessary. We cannot influence the extent to which this data is collected and evaluated.
If you are already logged in to a social network when you visit our website, you may not see another login dialog after clicking the social media button. Even if you are not a member of a social network, it is possible for the social networks to receive and store your IP address and information about the browser and operating system you are using. The scope and purpose of the data collection as well as the processing and use of the data by the social networks and information on rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the data protection notices of the respective network communicated below. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. ORDER DATA PROCESSING
We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

GOOGLE RECAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). With reCAPTCHA it should be checked whether the data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of stay of the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyzes run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place. Data processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM. For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google's privacy policy, see the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android. html.

MAUTIC
We use mautic - an open source tool for marketing automation - on our websites. This is analysis and tracking software for assigning and storing usage data (including browser used, last page visited, length of stay). The software uses this information to customize our marketing efforts and better align them with the interests of each individual user. The software also helps us to better evaluate the success of individual marketing measures. Mautic is hosted by us on specially operated servers. A transfer of data to third parties does not take place. We collect and process data with mautic only to the extent that it is necessary to achieve the business goals of WATTCONTRACT GmbH with you. mautic's way of working is expressed through:
a) Email Marketing and Campaigns
With so-called e-mail marketing, you will be sent personalized e-mails. These are partly based on how you use our website, when you read our e-mails and when you interact with the links contained therein. We also send emails as part of campaigns.

b) landing pages
Landing pages are special web pages that have been defined as the target of advertising campaigns. They usually contain options for interaction, eg for downloading white papers or checklists and forms for collecting information about you. The software uses various technical processes to assign individual activities to anonymous profiles or – with prior consent – to the profiles of individual users:

c) tracking pixels
In order to recognize whether, for example, an e-mail has been opened, mautic uses so-called counting pixels (tracking pixels). This loads a small graphic from the provider's server, which was previously assigned to an individual user profile.

d) personalized web links
In order to recognize whether, for example, a user calls up a link from an e-mail, mautic adds a unique identifier to these links, which was previously assigned to an individual user profile.

e) IP address
The IP address currently used by website visitors is transmitted to us each time our website is accessed. Mautic uses this to recognize users of the website. The data collected are:

• activity on our website

• Number of page views and length of stay of the website visitor

• the click path of the respective visitor

• Downloads of files provided via the website

• Visits to landing pages

• Openings of e-mails from newsletters and campaigns

As part of registering on the website or downloading a white paper, the provider collects data through the use of mautic

• Contact information (such as name, postal or e-mail address, telephone or fax number).

• Business contact information (such as your job title, my business name, business email address, phone or fax number).

• the IP address of the end device from which the website is used (a sequence of numbers that identifies your current computer connection to the Internet)

The released data is clearly recognizable for the user by filling out a form. It is marked which data is necessary to send the form. Mautic is only used if you have expressly given your consent to the use of so-called "first-party cookies" when you use our website for the first time. You can revoke this consent at any time by contacting the contact person named above. In this case, all tracking data collected using mautic will be deleted immediately.
